En de laatste in de serie van 'zoete' mini kaartjes...

De basis van de kaart is weer gemaakt met:

een dubbele cirkelmal van Decó time.

En daarna heb ik laagjes van cirkels opgebouwd.

Een dubbele banner en cirkel gemaakt met een tekst erop.

Nog wat strass erbij en de kaart is klaar!

want ik heb de smaak te pakken!

 

De basis van de kaart is weer gemaakt met:

een dubbele cirkelmal van Decó time.

En daarna heb ik laagjes van cirkels opgebouwd.

Een dubbele banner en een cirkel in laagjes gemaakt

met daarop een stempel afdruk.

 En om het feestelijk te maken: nog strass-steentjes erbij.

I made another mini card,

because it is so much fun to make these!

And to make it a celebration card: I added gems.

 Dit was zó een leuke snailmail om te maken!

Het thema was: High Tea Party.

Daarvoor hoorde er dan ook thee bij

en alles wat er mee te maken kan hebben.

Ik heb zelf de cupcake vorm van het boekje verzonnen.

Een boekje vol met mini cadeautjes,

die we 'Goodies' noemen.

Deze zijn in allerlei pockets te vinden

of op een andere manier bevestigd aan de pagina.

Dit is beter te zien op de video,

die onderaan dit bericht te vinden is.

 It was só fun to make this snail mail!

The theme was: High Tea Party.

And everything you can image that will fit,

is added as well as real tea.

The cupcake shape of the book is made by me.

The flipbook is full of mini gift,

we call them 'Goodies'.

You can find them in pockets

or they are attached in an other way to the pages.

The best you can see this is on the video,

which can be found at the bottom of this post.

Spring

 Eindelijk kom ik weer toe aan het plaatsen van kaartjes.

Het is meteorologisch al lente, dus een lente kaartje. :)

Geen makkelijke kleuren om vast te leggen:

lila, paars en roze tinten,

maar wel fijne kleuren om iets moois mee te maken.

Ik ben aan de slag gegaan met:

Stempels van Crealies en Craft Emotions,

Versa Mark en Distress inkt.

Verschillende mallen van Crealies

en plaatsjes uit een Decó Time papier set.

These colors aren't easy to capture on a photo,

but I love to work with: Lilac, Purple and Pink.

Peekaboo Card III

Hierbij weer een peekaboo kaart.

Ik blijf een beetje rommelen met de maten,

want ik wil graag een klein kaartje,

maar dan moet het wel nog stevig zijn

en natuurlijk de tekst tevoorschijn komen.

Wanneer ik ze gevonden heb, zal ik de maten delen. :)

for I want a small card, but it has to be solid

and the text must appear when you open it.

 Dit was echt super leuk om te maken!

De basis zijn vier hartjes,

die je beide kanten beplakt met leuke vakjes, flapjes, etc.

Enkele tips en trucs:

• Wanneer je de zijden van de hartjes aan elkaar plakt d.m.v. breed washi tape: laat wat ruimte tussen de hartjes. Zo laat de washi tape niet los bij het vouwen en kan je de vakjes zo vol doen als je wilt.
• Je kan een puntvakje maken door een hoekje uit een foliezakje te nemen en deze aan de bovenkant rond te knippen. Hierdoor heb je een kwart cirkel, wat op de punt van het hartje past.
• Plak vellum op met washi tape.
• Plak doorzichtige stickervellen op met dubbelzijdig doorzichtig tape.

 This was so super fun to make!

The basic are 4 hearts,

both sides are decorated with pockets and stuff

Tips and tricks:

• When you add the hearts to each other, leave some space between the hearts and use wide washi tape. So the tape will be good attached to the pages and you can stuff whatever you want in the pockets.
• You can make a pocket out of a foil bag. Just cut the corner and make a quarter circle of it. That will fit on the under half op the heart.
• Attach vellum with washi tape.
• Add transparant sticker folders with double sided transparant tape.

Pocket Letter - Valentijn II

 

 

Een Pocket Letter met als thema: Valentijn.

Het blijft super leuk om te maken: deze Pocket Letters.

Ik hou zelf van heel veel details en grappige elementen,

zoals een was stempel en het touwtje onderin de rechter hoek

of het kleine hangslotje bij het vogeltje om het lintje heen.

Materialen:

Plaatjes, pearl maker, touw, kant, houten knoopjes,

was stempel, veertjes, washi tape, labels,

letter tang, knijpertjes, design papier,

vintage print, een pin, borduur- en metalic garen.

Mallen: Marianne Design - CR1454 en LR0136

 A Pocket Letter with the theme: Valentine.

It still is super fun to make these Pocket Letters.

I love to add many details and nice elements

like the wax stamp and feathers in the right corner

or the mini padlock at the bird on the brench.

Materials:

Images, pearl maker, strings, lace, wooden buttons,

wax stamp, feathers, washi tape, tags, vintage print,

mini clothepins, a pin, embroidery and metalic thread.

 Deze keer hoefde ik niet te letten op het gewicht,

want mijn swap partner woont in dezelfde woonplaats.

Dus ik ben ook los gegaan met de goodies

en heb een pakketje ervan gemaakt:

3 verschillende foliezakjes met inhoud,

die ik vast heb gemaakt met een stansje,

waar nietjes doorheen geslagen zijn.

Mijn brief is om 2 gelpennen heen gewikkeld

en nog wat papier en een kaart erbij.

 This time my swap partner is living in the same village,

so I don't have to care about shipping costs.

That's why I have made a nice package of goodies.

I have put a lot of stuff in 3 foil bags

and added a die cut at the top with staples.

My letter is rapped around 2 gelpens

and I added some paper and a card.
