Knuffeldoekjes DIY - Cuddle cloths DIY

 Ik had nog een stukje zachte witte badstof liggen

en omdat ik normaal kaarten maak:

héél veel lintjes.

Nou, daar kan je leuke knuffeldoekjes van maken.

Ik heb geen patroon gebruikt,

maar zelf de kat, dinosaurus en wolk getekent.

Maar ik voeg een beschrijving toe van de wolk,

zodat u deze ook kunt maken. :)

I had some nice soft fabric

and because I make a lot of cards,

also a lot of ribbons.

So I made this cuddle cloth.

I didn't use a patern,

but I drew the cat, dinosaur and cloud myself.

But I will add a tutorial how to make the cloud,

so you can make it yourself. :)

Teken een wolk of gebruik bovenstaand plaatje voor het patroon.

Knip de wolk:

- 2x uit katoen

- 2x uit badstof

- 1x uit vlieseline

Draw a cloud or use the image above for the pattern.

Cut this out :

- 2x cotton

- 2x terry cloth

- 1x bonded fibre tissue

Kies lintjes die je wilt gebruiken

en knip deze op de juiste lengte.

Ik heb gekozen voor 1,5 cm breed lint

en de lengte van 14 cm.

Het bovenste lint is 20 cm lang,

waar ik een knoop in heb gelegd.

Vervolgens heb ik ze aan het vlieseline vastgenaaid.

Choose the ribbons you want to use.

I used 1,5 cm wide ribbon

and a lenght of 14 cm.

The one above is 20 cm long,

where I tied a knot in.

Add them to the fibre tissue.

 

 Stik het katoen aan beide zijden erop vast.

Dit zorgt ervoor, dat straks de kleur lintjes

niet door het stof heenschijnen.

(daar liep ik met het maken van de kat tegenaan).

Stitch the cotton on both sides.

This will prevent that the ribbons

will shine through the fabric.

(I had that problem with making the cat).

 

Neem de maten over aan de bovenkant,

waar het lint er straks doorheen moet komen

en hou de onderkant open.

Stik vervolgens beide badstof delen op elkaar.

 

Take the measurements where the ribbon

has to come through the cloud above

and leave the bottom open.

Stitch both terry cloth parts on each other.

 

 Stop het gedeelte met de lintjes eraan in het badstoffen wolkje

en haal het bovenste lintje door de opening.

Speld de onderkant van de badstoffen wolk vast

en stik deze met een stiksteek door.

Doe hetzelfde aan de bovenzijde bij het lintje.

En het knuffelwolkje is klaar!

 Put the part with the ribbons in the terry cloth cloud

and take the ribbon above through the whole.

Take some pins to attach the bottom parts of

the terry cloth clouds to each other

and stitch this with a lockstich through.

Do the same at the ribbon above.

Now the cuddle cloth cloud is finished!
